Dr. Elisabeth (Lisa) Brüggen
I am an Associate Professor of Marketing at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE) and Netspar research fellow. I was a visiting researcher at the University of Melbourne as well as Arizona State University. My background in services marketing deeply ingrained customer-centric thinking. Since a few years, I specialize on consumer financial decision making and pension communication. I enjoy interacting with the pension community and I am invited regularly to speak at board meetings of pension providers or other pension specific conferences.
My research has been published in leading journals in the field such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Service Research, or MISQ, among others. I received several research grants from NWO (Aspasia), Netspar, and the Marketing Science Institute (MSI). Furthermore, I am the recipient of the 2011 SERVSIG best paper award, the 2014 Business Development and Knowledge Transfer Jury Prize” and the 2005“Junior Lecturer Excellence Award” of Maastricht University (SBE). In July 2015, I have been awarded the American Marketing Associations SERVSIG’s Emerging Service Scholar Award.
